That was my thought too. I looked around briefly and did not find anything....I also found it odd that the hole was not threaded; but smooth on the ID.
Im going to try to snake my phone down there now and get a photo of the hole. I've tried 100x to register on EPC; but it keeps giving me an error.
I may also head to the dealer and see if they can ID the part and have one on the shelf I can look at.

Well I stand corrected. I found this wedged in the engine:

Looks like one of the clips busted off, and it blew out. Im going to snag another from the dealer. P/N 005422818. I'll report back after I have it buttoned back up....

There u go, looks like charge air temp sensor from here.

Yep - that's it. Unfortunately none of the dealers here have it in stock; so looks like I'll report back on Wednesday after I get it installed.
