Using Mercedes OM603 injector pump on OM 606

Dear Friends
I'm new in the Forum and have a 1996 g Wagon in very good shape. I wish to fit OM606 engine that i got but due to the electronics/ECU in OM 606, i'm advised to use an injector pump from OM 603. Can anyone advise what parts i need to inter change and if there is loss of power/torque when i do this? Will i get good fuel consumption from this
