OM617 Timing chain Guide Pins
Have my motor half torn apart and noticed that one of the pins isnt flush in the block. Are any of them not suppose to seat flush to the front surface of the block?

On the newer turbo engines one of the lower guide pins also fixes the position of the TDC pointer.
This pin is not flush with the block.
