That and it looks like duct tape is a suitable replacement for leather and vinyl...

Wow. Moment of silence for a W126 that obviously drifted into the wrong hands.

Haha reminds me of the Full Size Blazer I bought a couple years ago that had a baseball bat propping up the passenger seatback. I could just imagine what might happen if I got rear-ended in that thing

That's nothing! (I always wanted to say that)

I found a Euro 300D a few months back in a junkyard with the uber-rare automatic recession feature for the driver's seat. It must have been for someone who was 7ft tall or something. Because as soon as I sat in the driver's seat, it sunk down a full foot until it was sitting on the ground beneath the car!

Rooster, that is a classic one. I have seen some pretty bazaar things in the yards, but this one beats them all.

That is the $64,000 dollar question. I have seen it many times in the yards.
A couple months back there was a SEL with perfect front and rear leather seats in a burgundy leather. the rear seats wee like bucket seats with a console in the center I have never seen before. some dip stick put a slice across one of the rear seats.

They do it because they can, and get away with it. I have seen a whole row where all the headlights were smashed.

We need a thread on strange and unusual finds in the yards.

Charlie
