240D shop service

I'm wrapping up the repairs needed to make my 240D roadworthy. Now, I'm getting to the suspension, and I think I'm going to have to take it to the shop than try to take care of it myself (lack of proper tools). Now, how much can I expect to pay for
lower control arm bushings,
guide rod mounts and struts,
the right tie rod,
upper sway bar bushings and
ball joints to be replaced?

I think you will need to mention what City you live near.

I think if you want quality parts you will need to buy them separetly. If you let the Suspension Shop Supply them tell them you want to know who makes them and were they are from.

Some Shops don't want you to supply your on parts. One reason is they charg a % over the Cost of the Parts. If you supply the Parts they lose a little profit.

The other reason is a if a Customer supplies them with cheap poor quality parts there is going to be an issue when a warranty comes up due to one of those parts Failing (they might do the Job but with no warranty).

On the Lower Control Arm Bushings some have been using the 2 Piece W126 (someone correct this if I am wrong) Bushing set that can be used on the W123 but listed for Vehicles with larger Tires and I believe it was for more sever usage like Police Cars.

The Suspension Shop also needs to know that the Bushings need to be installed in a specific position. If they are installed wrong they will have trouble getting the alignment with in specs.

I will bet Hunter has a Suspension Parts list in one of the Threads.
I think Price will vary with the Seller and the Maker of the Part.
I find it best to get the Part Numbers and sit down and start doing some internet searches.

I'm near Springfield, MA, in Western Massachusetts. If I were to supply my own parts, they would be either genuine mercedes or the German-made oem equivalent anyways.
