The low side is "made" by circuitry inside the temp controller. The easiest way to check this is by placing a meter on the switchover valve and vary the temp to max cooling. You should see a change in the voltage as the low side is switched in and out.

With the low side switched off, you should see supply voltage (+12Vdc) as you vary the temp wheel to max cool, this voltage should drop down.

Of the temperature regulator? Hmmm I dont think I have any handy..Let me see if I can find one online..

I can't seem to find a nice one.

Its reallly easy to access though. You just need to drop that knee panel on the passenger side of the dashboard..and the unit is on the right side of the blower case.

Sorry I dont have any pics

Here is a picture of the Temperature Controller Regulator for the W126 series:Mercedes A 0008220903 A/C Temperature Control Regulator | Compare Prices

It is very similar in appearance to the cruise control amplifier.

You meant to say,

this link:
http://www.startekinfo.com/StarTek/outside/12253/program/ETM/ACC83-85.pdf
page 302

F10.

It says in the fuse box, 8 amp fuse.

So I would think that its fuse number 10 in the box on the driver's side. Check if fuse 10 in the fuse box is in fact an 8 amp unit. Also check the label on the fuse box lid see what it says the fuse supplies power to
