What's a rust-free W123 240D worth in north-east?
I'm still getting my 82 240D auto ready to sell (bought a 300TD and the 240 has to go), but am wondering what I should expect to get for it in the North-East (Ontario Canada). It has about 210,000 miles, very good mechanical condition, excellent interior, and a solid rust-free body with original beige paint (the reason it's rust free is that I bought it from a guy who brought it up from Arizona 13 years ago, and it has only seem summer roads since then, never salt, and has been rust-proofed a couple of times for good measure).
I'd like to get a fair price for it, but am concerned that prospective buyers may try to low-ball me given these cars (with usual north-east rust) don't sell for much and I figure I should get more than $1-2K given this one is lacking rust. How much more of a premium should I realistically be shooting for? Thanks.

I would think from 3 to 5000 depending on how good it is.

Thanks, that's what I was hoping for, so you've confirmed my thinking on this. I'll shoot for the upper part of that range and expect that I may-will have to settle for less.
Interesting that we seem to have an almost identical set of vehicles!
