how many places to leak on front of om617

I replaced my crank seal but still have a leak somewhere on the front of the engine. It appears to be leaking worse on the drivers side, definately on the front. It is possibly the vacuum pump, but seems to be lower. How many holes are in the front that can leak? I going to be bummed if the crank seal is still leaking.

If you didn't remove and replace the spacer ring behind the crank shaft seal that might be a problem.

OM617s mostly leak from vacuum pump mounting gaskets; the little pins that hold the timing chain rails in place; but #1 bastard leak source is rocker cover gasket. You might get weeping from chain tensioner area as well...
