Which guide rod mounts to buy?
I've searched and can't really find an answer on which is best. One thread said no to lemonfarters, buy MB parts instead. Peachparts lists lemonfarter as OEM supplier so that makes me wonder if buying MB parts would be any different than just picking up the non MB version. If it's worth it, I'll spend the $137 each to buy the MB parts. If it's six of one, half dozen of the other, I'll spend less than $137 for both sides.
Hopefully I don't offend anybody with "lemonfarter". A German guy I know calls them that so it just kind of stuck.

I've done it both ways. Buy the MB parts on this one. This is such a pain to replace, its worth the extra $$ to buy the best part.

If the LEMFÖRDER mount is a gold color, it should be good. If it is silver, run away, they are made in India.
Your best bet is to order Genuine Mercedes Benz mounts. I order my true MB parts from the Classic Center, they often have better prices than the dealer. .
