'96 C280 tranny question
 
Transmission just runs in reverse, Does not runs forward. I know this would point toward a bad B2 piston in an older model. Would this still apply to an '96? Thanks.

Bump...could really use some advise as I'm looking at a for sale with this issue.

I think that's a gasser? Maybe try the Tech Help forum. I haven't seen too much discussion of c-class models here. I know there are diesel models, but I think most of those are abroad and most of the members here are from North America.

Thought the trannys crossed over between the 2?
