240D manual injection pump?

I just swapped a 1983 euro 240D motor into my dads 1983 USA 240D. The euro donor car was a 4speed. My dads car is an automatic. Started up and running great. However it shifts incredibly early. 1-2 takes place at like 5mph.

Researching the vacuum system I realized I don't have a vacuum control valve on my injection pump (obviously I guess, as the donor was a 4speed) but it doesn't look like there are the same tapped holes to add a VCV to the euro pump. But the car is not near me right now to verify.

I saved the injection pump from the old motor which ran and idled okay but suffered from a case of the vacuum pump dropping its innards into the timing case. Can I swap the USA automatic injection pump onto the euro motor if there isn't a way to hook up a VCV to the pump in the car right now.

So I went and looked at the car closer, there is a rod that sticks out of the side of the euro IP with holes around it that are tapped. But it looks like its designed to work with something closer to the VCV on a 60X series car.

Does anyone have a euro 240D automatic who could show me what is supposed to go there on an automatic?

The tank of tax free came with the car.

Found the answer to my question. Late 83 and on 240Ds used a 722.4 with a blue flying saucer type setup and the VCV like what's on a 60X.

Looks like Ill be swapping injection pumps.
