Wagon Desirability

I'm not a big wagon fan....but I know a lot of folks are, especially the W123 wagons. I briefly owned an 87 300DT....but turned out it had too many things wrong with it so I had to sell to someone who could do the work himself.

A couple in my neighborhood are selling a pretty nice condition 95 E320 wagon with fairly high miles. I don't have any room right now for any more cars....so sorta window shopping. But how desirable are these particular wagons....how easy to re-sell? Mainly just curious. I wouldn't mind owning a wagon for a while....as long as I could sell it on the back end.

They are desirable if looked after. What color combo is it?

Check condition of trans, AC, wiring harness, and head gasket? The condition of those will determine the asking price. The miles don't matter so much.

Black on grey.

This is the intriguing part: head gasket done, wiring harness replaced, tranny rebuilt, evaporator replaced.

Any other needed repairs would be relatively inexpensive. Grab it if you can get in cheaply.

Heated seats and ASR make it easier to sell. So does no rust. Miles?

Cheap would be $1500. Only a benz enthusiast would see the value in the car. Most normal folk would be scared off by the miles.
