190d 5 speed at pick and pull windsor

there is a 190e 5 speed there as well. Thats right two 5speeds. 717.410 for the 190d, and 717.411 for the E.
I have no time for them as i already have 2 five speeds, and they dont go to any car i have. So whoever has the time you could get a deal out there.
Once again they are at pick and pull Windsor,ca.

PnP price list shows std trans $100+$30. Add in another $100 or so for all the pieces of the clutch assembly. Plus tax, of course. There's a chance you might get part of the clutch for free if it comes to check-out attached to the tranny; it depends who's at the window, the mood they're in, whether they know you, etc. oh yes, don't forget the shifter and its linkage.

Pity I don't need a 5-speed, I'm only 20 minutes away (and no, I don't want to go pull it and ship it to you, sorry).

I paid 230$ for mine with only flywheel shifter and transmission. So for the rest I'd say 325$ max.

A transmission out the door is about $149. there is state tax, admission fee tax (17¢), Inviro fee, $2 entry fee.

Shift Rods can be one price for the 3 or $10 ea. depends on the person at the window.

FW is about $27

Shifter abut $30.

Front section of drive Line, about $35.

Trans X mount, about $30

Peddles about $30.

Go to www.pnp.com for their price list.

Don`t see these 5-spd come up all that often, but 2 at the same time....WOW!!!! I just pulled 2 240D 4 spds a week ago in Portland, these are easy. the W201 are a PITA to work on because of the smaller body.

I have found nice ones before. You just have to be there at the right time. Those get snagged quick, like the speedos with tachs.

Why not?

My wife was with me one time and she found a brand new 4 spd shift knob in a 240D. it now resides in our 240d.

My Wife later found a leather shift boot off a 91 Saab that is now on our 240D, to replace the crappy after mkt Tupper ware plastic made in India one I bought.

How about the rebuilt 617.951 engine I pulled with 1187 miles?

Never know what just replaced new part will be on one of these old girls.

Let me get the terminology right, appears alot of people are scratching their head on this....pick n pull charges what they call "environmental fees" most of us see them as hazardous material fees...

Environmental Fees
When you buy from Pick-n-Pull, your receipt will include an Environmental Fee. This charge helps offset some of the costs of handling and legally disposing of hazardous materials commonly found in automobiles and other vehicles. Thank you for recycling a used auto part and helping to conserve our fragile environment.

I've never seen that on a PnP receipt but I've only been to PnP yards in California.

Its on there....I have bought from many PNP in cali and every receipt had them....most of the time it exceeded sales tax....I argued a few times when I bought upholstery items and they charged it to me...
