DV crush washer difference

hello guys

I just dismantled my DV's from IP pes5mw55/320rs16 and I have noticed
some difference...ie. on guys video (where he swaps crush washers on the same IP model) he had flat crush washers also holders were different.

I have checked IP manual I have and the pn guy used (1 410 105 020) is proper
could I use same washers as guy did?

do you guys have any info regarding this one.....?

first pic is mine.

cheers
ChO

Looks like you have some aftermarket "improvement".

I think if you want your IP fixed use the correct Washers and be done with it. If you want to experiment use what ever You want to uses.

The thin copper that is bent over the end of the new DV will split and leak, just remove it and use the old style copper washer. You will be much happier long term.

yeah, that is a basic rule, no doubt.

but as those DV's are from my recently rebuilt MW by authorized Bosch
service center
(which btw jump around whole engine and a car when I drip it in)
I was very suspicious so I asked forum gurus did they see anything alike.

now I'm sure it is wrong and I will plunge those back...with proper washers

p.s authorized Bosch...mmmm.....dont even get me started...

Sometimes Bosch has developed new washers, which are backwards compatible, but are not sold by MB. It could also be that somebody made an error at the Bosch diesel service.

That is how they come from Bosch, all is good, just pop off the copper cap that is on it and use the standard copper washer. Try to center the DV up in the element body, but don't kill yourself by trying to get it exact lol
