Wires from Alt - 0m602

Hey,

I have two wires from the alt that go to the starter. I know the larger one is to my pos. post, but I can't remember where the smaller wire goes. I swapped this 1991 2.5l diesel into a Jeep and I am trying to tie up the wire loose ends.
thx
