Fluctuating Gauges Solved!
 

Last night in freeway traffic (of course) my guages went wild and lights out. I pulled over and popped out the instrument cluster to find the ground wire (black wire to lug on rear of speedometer) had come off. I have had intermittent problems for the last week or so as it must have been working its way loose.
