Good news and bad news about my 300D

First the good news. Rolled over 330k. Motor still runs fine, trans is fine, all is well.
Now the bad news. Found rust where the rear control arm bolts to the floor. Was hoping to take this car to at least 400k, but now I'm looking for a clean body for my drivetrain.

Yeah, after parking our Toyota Sienna next to my 300D for about two years, the Sienna had an R350.

Still haven't figured out which car is a guy and which is a girl.

I should see if I can breed the Corolla and the Benz -- I might end up with a 717.400 or at least an OM617 flywheel!

The only things *I* have that have babies is tickets, bills and fees.

But seriously folks....
If the unibody is rusted out where that big crossmemer-bolt screws into the frame-rail, it may be time to go body-shopping. I couldn't tell from the dark, blurry photo.
Most commonly, these rust out where the reinforcing brace that comes forward from that big bolt anchors with two smaller bolts at the base of the rear seat. It's not too hard to cut and fabricate a repair-plate for that corner of the floor. I just went through this on the right rear floor of my '84 Euro TD.

Happy Motoring, Mark

X2, if the rust is localized to that point, id consider a repair instead of a body swap. Where else is it rusted?

Jooseppi, no, this is not the Ebay car. This is one I've had for about 7 years. The Ebay one has clean floors except for the hole that I"m going to fix. I know you guys can't see much, but this isn't the only floor rust. I looked along the body, and it looks like the whole floor can fall right out from under the car. Shame the rest of the car is in great shape. Mark, you've seen the car before, at Kevin's GTG. John, I'm definitely interested.. Got pics? David, I responded.
