Replace it. From one who lives in AZ to an other who lives in Canada. Yeah replace it, and give the old one to me. It isn't that bad. Is everyone getting soft?

We are heading back to Canada soon. I am hoping to pick up good used trailing arms en route.
Can anyone give me a rough idea of the overall dimensions of a trailing arm - they will likely have to be in HD garbage bags. Reason for question, is that we are travelling in our GLK250 which is kind of tight for space. I thought i might be able to fit the 123 trailing arms in the cargo space and then pile our luggage on top. But even with some of our stuff in rooftop box it will be tight.

They are about 2.5 feet by 3 Feet (or you coul just say 3ft by 3Ft) And the circular backing plate is at least 1 foot in diameter. Also not that I recieved both Arms with the Brake Backing Plats bent. So you might want to support them so they don't get bent. If it was wrapped and padded enough not to damage anything one should fit on the Passanger side Floor.

We didn't get very far with the more specific dimensions needed in the thread...
Anyone with a W123 LCA and/or trailing arm handy? ...but you can see the trailing arm mounting lugs are less than 2 foot apart in one of those pictures. From those pictures I estimate 2ft X 2.5ft I can check tomorrow for you if want
