Transmission Core Buyers? (west coast)

Looking for a company that buys transmission cores for late 70s/early 80s Mercedes diesels.
I currently have two bad transmissions and two high-mileage ones and expect to continue getting more.
It'd be great to find someone interested in purchasing for rebuild instead of scrapping them...

You will have to ask the professor on that one. Also check with places that advertise as building them. I've been messing with Nissan surplus which included new transmissions. Most builders want newer models because few people are willing to repair the older models. Many of those that want an older tranny want it cheap.

The older stuff almost has to be retailed to get any money out of it.

Asked them, I think they have enough but maybe in the future.

You could check with Transmissions Express, they're based in downtown Portland. Don't know anything about these folks, just ran across them when I was researching rebuilt transmission suppliers.
