82 300SD Power Steering Pump Washers
I am going to change out my power steering pump. Can anyone tell me where to get the copper washers?
I understand you cannot use them again. |

If you can remove them with out mangling them up and they are not badly squashed you can Heat them red hot and drop them in water and that softens them.
However, you cannot do that to the Fuel Injection Pump Crush Washers or Aluminum Crush Washers. Depending on the size the US sized Copper Cush Washer will work. Harbor Freight sells an assortment. Ace Hardware sells the US sized ones individually.

I had no problem reusing the one on my PS lines when I rebuilt my pump. I think they are sold online from one of the major parts vendors. This site may have them, too.

Most auto parts stores carry them. However, you have to ask for brake system copper washers or you might get a dazed look in return.
