83 300D driver door lock jammed

I'm having a problem with the driver's side door lock. At first I thought it was a problem with my aftermarket power locks, but after taking the door panel off it's clear that those are working fine.

I thought maybe it was a problem with the tumbler itself, so I took the door handle off and I'm still having the problem.

Take a look at the attached photo. If I push in the direction of the arrow the mechanism moves about 1/8" and then won't budge at all. I've looked in there as well as I can and don't see anything that looks obviously broken or stuck, but it's hard to tell.

Any thoughts? Can I remove those two large phillips screws and get the whole assembly out somehow?

The lock knob will not be able to be pushed down on the driver side with the door open. Try lowering the window so you can lock it with the door closed. You can also open it from the inside handle (or pull on the rod). That may give you a better idea of where the problem lies....Rich

Sheesh, you're right. I thought I was flipping the latch in the door to the closed slot, but apparently there are two positions. I'm an idiot

Well, that was easy to fix, but my aftermarket door locks still aren't working. Now it's clear that the problem is with them, not the lock itself.

Thanks!
