Mercedes Diesel Truck.....

What do you all think about this classic diesel? It interesting in my eyes....but doesn't look right....

Looks pretty cool! Too bad its right hand drive. I could see myself tooling around town in that. There was a similar one about a year back for sale.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.

These are very easy to change to LHD, it's a bolt-on arrangement. In those days they were all made that way.

Some the technology and parts from the W136 models (which started in the mid 1930s) stayed around until the 1980s!

MB doesn't throw a good thing away for the sake of change.
