How bent is your 617 oil pan?
A wrecker hooked up to my car last yr after an accident ,a bent oil pan was the result ,half inch in 2 spots , getting ready to sell the car FOR PARTS and need to have it running .Any pics out their to reference the spot were the pickup is located without opening the pan up?

Yes ,today Im starting to wrench on her ,the 617 donor will end up as a great addition to another tired Mercedes ,thanks for the link to my link.

Mine is a new replacement. I don't allow dented things on my engines.

Somewhere in the Turbo Dain thread is a pic Of My Oil Pan and you can see the impressions of 4 parts of the Oil Pickup on it.
With the Pan removed I beat out the dents. What you need to worry about is if the Oil Pickup is cracked and the Pan is holding it together.
