Good info. Thanks! I'll try it.

No, I'm fine, thanks. My 300D started out as a $600 car. I bought the best body I could, and pretty much ignored the rest. The thing ran, but the suspension was so far gone that I couldn't get up to 45 on the highway, so I had to abandon it in a residential neighbourhood off the highway for the night, and come back to rescue it the following day with a complicated route map that allowed me to get the car all the way to a friend's house on roads with speed limits no higher than 35 MPH, because that was as fast as the car could go while still being halfway controllable. That was all the adventure I needed.

Since mine is mainly for taking the dogs for rides.. Mine would be when the dogs start going nuts when I'm not even in the driveway yet.
WinMutt, I remember the thread, but I'm too lazy to go find it too.

When you see a spot on the road....and next thing you know, your checking all the fluids, hoses and gaskets....

When you can tell fluids by touch, taste and smell.....

When as soon as you fix one leak, another comes to light....

When you have a stop watch app on your phone for timing the glow...

LOL

--- when a friend visits your new house for the first time and says, "I knew this was the correct house because it looks like an old Mercedes repair shop parking lot in the driveway." This really happen earlier this week.
