1987' 300D What is it question. Need Help Fast

Need help in removal of black device on to of Injection Pump. Tried to pry off the cap and found it to be a 3 wire connector. But Cannot figure how it is supposed to come loose. It is leaking fuel all over the back side of the IP.

Question will the ALDA leak also if it was loose?
