Charlie Sheen thrashes a green W123 sedan, while being chased by a tank through the streets of war-torn 'Beirut' (actually filmed in Spain) in the '80s film 'Navy Seals'. Does pretty well until he flips the car on it's roof. Then of course, he escapes from the car just in time, before it gets finished off by tank-fire!
Happy Motoring, Mark

Lethal Weapon 2 and 4. Probably in 1 also, not sure about 3.
That is off the top of my head, others have been mentioned. Just watch 80s films, there are piles. Just like BMW E23/4/8s.

"Die Hard With A Vengence" has a gasser ,500 or 560, used very prominently by Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson. Though it's funny the scene about the fuse block and sadly she ends up flipping. That even though survived jumping from an overpass a bit earlier in the movie.
It seems so many movies and TV shows of the mid '70s through the '90s used the W116 and W126 sedans. Though it's a rarity to see a SD or SDL. The link to IMBD is a great source.
