I desperately need some aftermarket light bulbs for my turn siganls up front. Please give me any online places that sell lots of various bulbs for cars. Its an 83 300sd thanks

Go and buy one of those car mags on the stands which deal with modified Hondas-Euro low riders...There are tons of ads for this kind of thing.

While on the topic, has anyone seen yellow H3 bulbs? I like driving with my fog lights on, but with the euro lights I have, the fog lights are white and people keep flashing me thinking that I have my bright on eventhough the fogs point downwards. Thanks

Alex

Good luck sourcing those turn signal bulbs

I'll keep an eye out dieselhead. You can always try ebay though.

Alex, try this place for some yellow foglight bulbs. Mine are a more "sharp" yellow than the old US foglights, because now I have a yellow bulb, as opposed to having a lens that is tinted yellow. I would recommend 55 watt (standard wattage.)

Under lights, you'll see 55W Hella yellow bulbs for $5.57 each

Speedy,
Thanks for the link. I'm going to try and find an online store where I can order online (as opposed to the one you pointed me to, I'm lazy like that) but now I know what to look out for. Thanks!

Alex:

I ordered yellow Hella H3 55 w bulbs from http://catalog.com/susq/hella.htm . They worked great, but I have been told that Hella can no longer use the yellow coating that had cadmium in the mix. My replacement Hella bulbs from PowerBulbs are not nearly as yellow. Susquehanna says they have Korean bulbs that appear the same color as the old Hellas, so you might give them a try.

I actually purchased a tint for glass! I think it was in a hobby store in the stained glass dept. It came in a small bottle with a brush like nail polish. Long time ago.

I would assume it is the same stuff that Hella uses and is used on the tinted turn signal bulbs you buy...

Hmmmm, they have all kinds of different colors now that I think of it...
