I was offered the following bumper shock for my 85 300D. It looks like it must be off an earlier model. If the bracket was removed, do you think it would work on an 85? My 85 has the integral aluminum channels in the bumper, but the bottom one had corroded away. It now has two s/s carriage bolts to hold the bottom section.
