I don't get it.

It's an age old debate. John described the vehicle as an E300-D. matureo has his JimmyL (http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/members/jimmyl.html) hat on suggesting it's a '95 E300, plain and simple as in there's no "-D" on the trunk lid.

There is a "diesel" on the right side.

Holy Crap I'm going to go get the engine and tranny. These are the last benjamins I'll be risking on my 95 320. After this, I'm buying a honda.

Need some help on swap from gasser to diesel.

Does the 1995 w124 om606 have electronic fuel injection?
Will the exhaust just bolt in or do I need to swap out or alter what I have?
My wagon has hydraulic rear suspension, nevermind...the pump is electronic.

The car is sold and listed as an E300. Quite simple really.

The w210 with the 606.96X in it isn't sold as an E300-D-T either.

this E300 is equipped with SLS... it's a sedan. I have to make another run to the yard soon to pick up a couple small parts, so...
chime in if you need something off the car.

The 124.131 was not offered with SLS in USA. If it has a tandem pump and hydraulic reservoir, most likely it had the optional ASD (hydraulic locking differential). If by some freak chance it does really have SLS, it would have been a special/custom order.

95 E300 (606.910) did NOT have electronic IP, it was still mechanical. The electronic IP didn't arrive until the W210 chassis on the 606.912 motor.
