If you have a 8 mm or 1 burl pad or maybe a 13mm or 2 burl pad, you can just cleanly cut off the end of the spring and use a 23 mm or 4 burls pad or a 18 mm or 3 burls pad to raise it up to a stock height. You would match the coil removal on other side also while making sure both springs are not heavily corroded.

.
Hmm, How do I count these burls?

Thanks guys - Yes - the ones on my car are currently 3-burl.

I will update the thread tomorrow after I meet the Kijiji guy. I'm hoping he has a spring for me as well as a goldmine of other parts

Looks like cutting the spring wasn't necessary

The guy I met up with today had one in acceptable condition for $40.

I put the front end of the car back together and rolled it out of the garage. This is the first time I ever drove the car!

Thanks! It's actually no headlight at all. The turn signal bulb is loose in the engine bay and you're just seeing the lit up side of the washer fluid reservoir lol.

I do have a bixenon projector retrofitted into an 7" sealed beam housing that I made for my jeep TJ which has now been traded in. I intend to repurpose it for this car.

Well you saw it here first folks! Forget those Euro upgrades - washer bottle lights are the new black.
