Succumbed to Peer Pressure...Low Miles 98 E300D

While I need to be SELLING not BUYING, I came under the spell of a low miles (73,000) 98 E300D. Excellent condition, (though a bit of wheel well rust...no biggie), silver on blue, one owner, brought to dealer once a year every year for service (had lengthy conversation with service advisor). Apparently optioned out the wazoo, GSXR and Sixto told me I need to snag it, so I did. (Next they'll be telling me to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge, so I guess I'll do that as well....).

I'll post pics later.

At least now Quahog can breathe a sigh of relief that I won't keep hounding him to lower the price on his 99.

Shertex, I have a six-car garage to sell you...

It comes with a small bedroom for... you know what...

Did you get the upper strut mounts checked for that rusting and cracking which was a problem in the W210?

Very nice car! I want one myself.

Do you mean the spring perches? Not yet, but I intend to.

Ha!

Very nice find there. I didn't realize that blue interiors made it out of the 80's though.

I wasn't sure what I thought of the color combo at first....but it's growing on me.

Congratulations, shertex! I love the miles, (73K) the color combo, Silver over Blue, the condition, AND the access to records, i.e. the MB dealer. Enjoy in good health!

Mother of God thats awful

Also, 70ish miles is awesome. The newish cars I'm labeling with a lifespan of about 250k. Anything after that is a gift. It makes the purchase math alot clearer.
