Heater Core

As you can see, when I removed the rubber hose part of the heater core's tube came with it. Is this enough of a concern to assume the rest of the heater core is rusted and may spring a leak?

Well, the Peach is being the usual, and refuses to let me attach an image, despite me renaming and removing it from the prior thread. So, guess if you want to see the gaping hole, you all have to find it here: www.peachparts.com/shopforum/diesel-discussion/345483-engine-removal-without-crane.html#post3229476

Oh now it shows up!

I was thinking of using Zerex Radiator Super Cleaner and then their diesel formula coolant. I wasn't ever going to use the fancy stuff, but now have my doubts. My ways are changed: best to go a bit fancy and have an insurance policy. Just like me buying medium quality dog food, so why not treat the Mercedes the same way?

Thank you all in advance!

Besides renaming the Pic you also need to change the size of it or if the Pic remains the same size do something else to edit the Pic like drawing an Arrow or adding some Text.

So then, leave it alone and hope I don't spring a leak?

Should have known...

Found my answer: N.L.A.. Takes care of that! So, hopefully this weekend can button her up and just ignore the unrepairable faults.

There you go, that's why I am leaving mine alone.....if it springs a leak, it will be time to go to pick n pull and put in a manual system
