Does anyone make.....
A decal or other means to restore the face of the speedometer? I have the speedo out of my W126 to redo the odo gears, but the whole face is faded. The white numbers look gray, and the orange numbers are faded and gray. I'd like to make it look better before I re-install.
I know i can paint the needles using Testor's model spray paint, but that would just make the rest look even worse. Is there an answer?

Find a better odometer/speedometer and paint the needles using my paint kit would be my suggestion. I see decent gauges all the time in the junkyard.

here on the forum, there was a member that scanned the original into his computer and printed inverse version of it. I suppose you could do the same, and use a color laser printer to print an overlay that would work.
