Where to buy good used parts for W115?
I live in Phoenix and stopped by two Mercedes wrecking yards on Broadway that I knew of and neither of them had any W114/W115 parts for sale. I just need a passenger side fog light lens and the fiber optic lines that light up the climate controls (or the whole panel if it doesn't come separate). The fiber optic lines especially would have been a perfect junkyard find. Any ideas? PS - I h-a-t-e ebay.

There are three W114/115 cars at the P&P in Albuquerque, NM. I can pull you two sets of fiber optic illuminators when I go back later this week.
The fog lamp glass is going to be very difficult. There are at least nine different kinds with different patterns and then there are clear and amber versions. No fog lamps or fog lamp glass for sale anywhere in Albuquerque. I've checked for several months. Contact forum member Ziad (tell him I referred you) as I just bought a set of fog lamps off of him and they are in the mail. He's a great guy and will definitely try to find you the part you need. Can you post a photo of the good glass lens in your good fog lamp? If I or someone else sees a matching pattern I could grab it and send it along. Phil Forrest

car-part.com is a nation wide online inventory system for participating salvage yards. You would want to do a fog light search and a search for other parts as they might not have the lights listed but have the car.

97_SL320, I'll definitely take a look at that website, thanks. Phil, I'll contact Ziad soon to see if he can help out. That would be so awesome if you'd get those fiber cables for me. The one that goes to the passenger side heat and floor levers was severed at some point, making it irreparable. The fog lamp glass is clear and says "Hella, TN6, SAE F71, 301-113-232". Thanks - Mike
