I tried carrying B20 in the back of the truck as it is listed near the top in the study. That was right around the time I lost the Ram's VP. I bought and installed a new VP and it went out within 100 mi. It was exchanged under warranty. The rebuilder called almost immediately saying that I had gas in my fuel ant the gas was the reason the VP had gone out. I has only been to 2 stations and neither would admit that there could ever be a problem with the wrong fuel dumped into a tank. There is no real way to be safe - just keep an extra $1,000. It works better than a tool box.

Good info to have, thanks everyone for posting.
I looked into this briefly before. After finding out that biodiesel worked the best as a lubricity additive and that Oregon has a B5 mandate, I pretty much stopped looking. If I had to fill up out of state, I have half a gallon of ATF that I could dump in to get me by, or run inside the gas station. Almost certain to have some some two stroke oil.

I'm getting a fuel can and injector line sized wrench for my Dakota; ran out of fuel last night. It was raining, but not too hard. Called a diesel buddy to bring me fuel. Thank goodness he had a wrench in his truck. Didn't kill the battery.
