How much urethane did it take to fill the two mounts? The Reynolds site offers a trial size (2lb) then a gallon (16 lb). The price difference between the two is about 80$

The trial size is probably enough for 4 pairs of mounts.

A gallon would be enough to set up shop.

Thanks for all your helpful answers, Mach4. The interest I have in the mold release is in order to remove the "plug" made from the bottle jack shaft to allow for the big center bolt to pass thru. So in your experience is any needed at all to be able to remove that "shaft" after it cures? Can you just pull that 'bad boy' on up, outta there without it ripping things all apart?

While the urethane will take up to 24 hours to fully cure, it is dimensionally stable after about 30 min. At that point the center hole plug can be easily removed without any mold release. Mold release is just silicon grease, so giving it a shot of silicone might be cheap insurance.
