Kudos to our Faithful Fathers (of this site)

I just wanted to acknowledge the guys that are tiresly contributing to the site and to helping alot of us out with our cars. Most of them do so without any sort of compensation for their time, and in the spirit of sharing their knowledge, for this hobby. It is appreciated.

We don't have to get all teary eyed or anything. Just jot down their call signs/name(s) so they know we love them.

There can be doubles...meaning if they have already had their name listed, thats o.k...list it again if they helped YOU too.
Not a competition, just sharing the love.

I'll start it off, in no particular order...as the order may reflect recent dealing with and are more fresh in memory.

If you forget someone, and think of them later, post again...they have thick skin and won't be offended.

I have to pile-on here and give a hearty thanks also. I'm handy, but I just couldn't enjoy these cars if it weren't for this forum and the knowledge shared here.

When I started fooling around with cars of course there was nothing like this. I had to rely on the advice of neighbors and family when I got stuck. Usually I just tore into things and hoped for the best. The way it is now you can find out before tearing in just what you are getting into.

Even though I offer answers and opinions I still take away plenty of good advice from here too.

I thought you helped me with some stereo stuff, maybe not....or perhaps I read one of your questions and found my answers from a thread you started based on your question. I just can't remember the specifics, but I do know for certain that I have read many threads with your name in it, so Thanks dude.

Sometimes just asking a question that someone else might have and investigating it is a form of helping others.... you took the time to ask the question that I eventually needed answered myself, and since you took the time to type it here on the internet, the answer was there for me when I needed it. It is a form of help. For that matter Thanks to everyone that contributes to this site, as well.

Same here, I have gone away from this site in deep thought about advice that I have read, even in the O.D section that has given me things to think about, I have even had my opinion changed on a few things as a result of advice on certain subjects, That resonance we leave behind is making a difference in someones life. One or a few guys on my list for that too.

Not sure how the heck I made the list, but thanks. I try to be helpful, but man, I barely ever post.

Anyway, this sure is a great way to start the day.

I'd like to thank everyone that's ever posted really, since even the questions have sometimes provided clues to my own issues.

This is a great forum and likely the only reason my 300CD brought me to work today.

There is a lot of bad information out on the web that will cost the neophyte to MB diesels money and time, this site has good info, pretty well organized, with fast responses and long distance diagnosis.
