Water hose help needed.

Just got off the phone with pelican parts and ordering all new heater hoses for my 85 300TD. 8 total hoses were accounted for, however the hose the runs from the bottom of the reservoir to the bottom of the radiator he said is unavailable.
It's about 3/4 to 1 inch in diameter and 2.5 feet long or so, and is form fitted.
What is another source to find it at?
Or is it readily available and he is mistaken?
Thanks

I recall seeing that hose on rock recently, for my 85 300D. I didn't buy because ~$75 and mine looked OK, even better after viewing that price. I was striving to get my cooling perfect before switching to Evans Waterless Coolant, since it is too pricey to afford losing any to a hose. It cost $120 for almost 3 gals, and I had to flush and drain the block and heater core, but I hope corrosion is behind me now, plus I'll never have to change coolant again.

Is this a Hose that could be pieced to gether with a smaller section of generic formed Hose a Barbed Coupling with Barbs on both ends and a Straight Hose and 2 Hose Clamps?

I don't have an 85 so I don't know what your particular hose looks like.

Keep in mind also that with the Evans, you can run the system at zero pressure, thus preserving what may be an older hose.

that hose is 1.25 " on one end, and 3/4" on the other... and it's form fitted to go around the fender/radiator support...
I'd go to a pullapart and snag one...

I've got a few that are good, pm if you need me to ship one.

I live only about 15 or 18 miles from mt Holly
My hose does not leak now, I just want to replace all hoses for pre cautionary measures. The way it sounds this hose must seldom go bad?

It does not get exposed to as much heat as the other hoses in the system. It does get exposed to pressure but I see these last longer than other hoses.

I believe this is the hose in question?

If so I found it from a few different places...

I think I bought one recently but haven't installed yet. It wasn't very expensive or I would have ****!! Ask the professor who carries that part number.

I would say to get one from URO (it will be the cheapest), but I might get banned for doing so

EDIT: I found one on a competing site, so I can't give the URL. It was a little more than $10, but may be just as bad as URO.

I don't mind paying for quality.

I think it lists at the dealer for about $70 or so.. you could likely find it around there or so.

For hoses and such, I try to stick with either the original equipment manufacturer if there is a consensus on who that is..or Mercedes-Benz.
