OM602 Exhaust Fastener Missing? [VIDEO]

Hey Guys,

I was replacing fuel lines on the 602 and I noticed some exhaust floating around the engine bay.. I looked over at the exhaust manifold and saw that something was missing?

Here's a video...

Looks like a missing exhaust stud and nut to me. Evidently someone had the head off for some work in the past and forgot to put the thing back in... So would I just get a stud...thread it in..and put a nut on it? or does the whole manifold have to come out for some reason?

It should be as easy as you said. Hopefully there isn't a broken stud in the hole

Ahhhh yeah I'm thinking it sheared.

On the upside, I used my new pneumatic hammer to remove the tie rods (which were actually bad). Done in 20 seconds! I also noticed that the steering gear box bolts look like they were removed and reinstalled. Someone must have put a new/rebuilt gear box on at some point.
