Kano Kroil Google offer

Kano Kroil has a special offer for 2 large spray cans of kroil for $14.50 plus
$5.95 shipping.

Google Deal

I just put in my order a few minutes ago.

I ran out of it and been depressed and dragging around w/o my can of kroil.
If I didn`t procrastinate so much I would have ordered this a couple months ago.

The can I have is about empty but has lost it`s pressure. probably from trying to spray things upside down and the tube coming out of the liquid.

I had a project of pulling an eng/trans, and some of the nut/bolts were rusted pretty good. I was sitting the can in the sun to get it warmed up enough, and would get a few drops out. enough to get the nuts off. kind of like squeezing the Tooth past tube for that last little bit.

It really helps to have a can when in the yards pulling parts.

With Christmas around the corner. this would be a good Stocking Stuffer.

I've never used it. How does it compare to wd40 or pb blaster?

Much much better. But drawback is I almost get nauseous with the smell.

WD-40 is a good starting aid for the Diesels.

PB Blaster is ok I guess, but this kroil really gets down into the frozen rusted parts.

I was trying to pry a Driveline off in the yards from the Flex Disk. thing was really stuck on from rust. sprayed it down, let it sit for a while, then later with a little prying it popped right off. this stuff creeps down into the tight places to loosen things up.

It has really paid off with rusted on manifold nuts.

Hey Richard, your not suppose to use this for deodorant, or Hair Tonic.

Thanks for the heads-up. Glad I don't have a garage, or I'd have ordered a lot of it and then sold it on ebay for a fair profit.

But I got me a can and a can for a friend of mine who will appreciate it.

Oh, and

there are several comparative tests online.

Kroil seems to always win.

Red face

Since I have to order it, I only use mine for special occasions. I think I've had my can for 5 years now. Tis the bee's knees.

This is an ongoing "special offer". Every once in a while they do mess up and have a great deal, like about a year ago the offer was $12 for two king sized cans, shipping included. However, I think they got overwhelmed by that and changed the offer pretty quickly that day (luckily I got in before they did!).

I buy it by the gallon. In the long run it's much cheaper that way. I make use of it extensively in another hobby. It's an excellent bore cleaner and solvent for those interested in cleaning firearms after a day of shooting.

Kroil is loaded with an oil and naptha and is a penetrant and lubricant. WD40 is a water dispersant, hence the WD. It is NOT a good lubricant.

I had this same issue, but more than a few ounces. I punched a hole in the can, poured it into my oil can, and mixed some A.T.F. with it; I.I.R.C., 1/3 Kroil to 2/3 A.T.F.. Works great! A.T.F. is a great cleaner, so works fantastic with the A.T.F.. Even better is the oil can can get into tight places and for short periods, up side down. Hope this helps...

Every paper mill I have ever worked in has kept this stuff in the storeroom. One of the best tools in the toolbox.
