But you missed the major new development, ready to proudly take its place alongside "Gets 48 mpg!" in the Mercedes vendor glossary:

Of course, like me, you were probably so gobsmacked by the fact it has red calipers, you missed a detail or two.

Prospector 12-13-2013 11:34 AM

Looks like the fuel gauge works!

JB3 12-13-2013 01:48 PM

its never been in any ancients though, so no oil pressure shouldn't be a problem

Someone should find out what the seller's first language is. I'm really hoping it's not English.

This made me laugh a little, needed it, been having a bad-Mercedes afternoon. Thanks for posting it :-)

Eek! Is that the tach to the upper-right? 1200 rpms and ZERO oil pressure?

Mölyapina 12-13-2013 07:42 PM

I suppose I shouldn't ruin the fun by suggesting that the gauge may be the broken item? :D

Not red calipers. Red calibers. But at least it's got 'AMG rims'.

Happy Motoring, Mark

you do know that the oil pressure sender on a 124 is electrical and is merely not sending signal right ?

i fail to see whats so terrible about that car......so the person obviously doesnt speak english....so what.....

if it didnt have anything major i would probably go 3 grand on that car.....it's nice, and one does not get s124's in america very often.....
