anti freeze coming out of the glow plug hole

HI all
so my 92 124 300d with the 602 engine with 200,000miles on it started to run real bad, overheating, tons of white/light colored smoke,no power so i pulled the intake/glow plugs and did a compression check, i got around 200 psi on all the cylinders. and when i pulled my intake there was a ton of oil coming out of the #2 cylinder were did this oil come from? i had to do it on a stone cold engine because i could not get the car to start. when i pulled my glow plugs one was broke in half(#4) and another was kinda melted (#5)at the end, also a bunch of antifreeze came up thru the gauge on the # 5 cylinder so i am guessing i have at the least a bad head gasket so i am now taking the head off, my question is ,were did the rest of that glow plug go?is it in the prechamber
now ? if so how do i get it out ? also what would cause this to happen to my glow plugs ? see my pics

Scary symptoms but hopefully all attributable to a bad head gasket. Also hopefully the broken off tip of the glow plug is completely inside the prechamber such that you can extract and replace the prechamber. If you want to try to extract the tip of the glowplug to reuse the prechamber, it'll be easier to do off the head. IIRC a new prechamber is something like $60. There should be used ones available.

200 psi across the board is way low but particularly strange that it's even with the variety of issues - oil and coolant in cylinders.

2 with 6 zeros, 2 million miles, I think a head gasket is due.

ok fixed the zeros, i would think i would be in the hall of fame with 2 million miles :) one question i had does a diesel shut off when hot like a gas engine, when my car started with its problems it was run hot just for a minute or two before i shut it off...i was very close to home and the needle never went into the red

Neither a gas nor Diesel engine will shut off because it's hot. It'll shut off because overheating leads to things like cylinder head warping, coolant hydrolocking, loss of lubrication, etc.

That glow plug has a different nut, and from what little is visible it looks rounded like normal, not burned off.

Are you sure it's not just a different model/PN/style glow plug?

the #4 glow plug is broken and yes it is a little different from the others but it is a mercedes glow plug. but you think the #5 glow plug has normal wear? when i tested the glow plugs only #4 had a problem

On a Mercedes Diesels with a Vacuum Shutoff something that causes a rise in Crancase Pressure beyond what the Crankcase Ventilation System can vent out will cause the Vacuum Shutoff to cut off the Fuel.

Agreed. My point is the engines we deal with will generally overheat to destruction.
