Where does this vacuum line go???

1987 300D.... this line comes from the airbox area over the top of the radiator and ends somewhere around the front of the valve cover, but I cant find what it should be plugged into. Anybody????

I can't tell the color but I'll guess its the vacuum supply line to the EGR transducer that magically came off. There's also a supply line to the ARV transducer that can magically come off. Make sure the corresponding fittings at the vacuum pump splitter are capped.

If the line is plain black, it's the vent line for the emissions transducers. It joins the vent line from the VCV and hangs open on the cabin side of the firewall. Come to think of it, why doesn't the BFS have a vent line?
