ash tray connectors
so the PO of my 82 300d 123 wired an aftermarket stereo.
they cut out the ash tray wiring..and/or spliced into it. does any one know that color the ash tray wires are... and also what was the original radio in a 1982 was it becker? i want to redo the harness for the radio etc. |

IIRC it's red for illumination, black/yellow/green for the hot side of the lighter and brown for ground.

The original radio in a 1982 W123 was the Becker Europa Model 599 (the all black model shown).

thanx these are just simple spade connectors... correct? now to find a nice becker..i wanna run an aux line fomr my mps player...but still have it look stock. |
