All of the custom Oil Line threads I have read have been for the 617.952s or earlier.
However, there is a lot of ways to go with it. Better you read the threads on what others have done.

Also keep in mind that your Fittings may not have the same threads and that removing the Oil Cooler Hoses from the Oil Cooler can also ressult in the Nipples on the Oil Cooler stripping in a similar manner as they do on the 617.952s.

That means that when you remove the Hoses plan for the worst and have another a ride avaliable for you to go to work.

Pick what meets your needs.

I went the cheap route and replaced only the Hose and using 2 Hose Clamps per Hose end keeping everything else. That worked well for several years.

Now one of the Hose connections is wet as of 4 Months ago or more. A whole bunch of problems had come up since then and I have not gotten around to replacing the Hose.

If your fittings are in serviceable condition, take the entire hose assembly to a shop that does hydraulic repair. They will be able to rebuild good as new by fitting new hoses to the old ends.
