Shameless plug

Just a shameless plug for one of our members. Mark (aka Greazzer) did my OM617 injectors for me. Let me tell you for those who haven't heard the word. If you need injectors cleaned, tested, new nozzles, etc, he is definitely the man to see. Great service and turn around, stays in constant contact with you, and the finished product is fantastic. I am more than pleased. He also mention he pretty much does all types of injectors, not just M-B (think VW IDI and TDI)

Anyway, the old 300D runs a LOT smoother and quieter now. Starts easier as well. Taking it out for a spin today to road test the new injectors.

Glenn

Great Endorsement. Thanks, it is always nice to know about excellent service providers who are also users of this forum.

He did my 240 and replaced the nozzles with Monarks that he had. This time I sent him my 190 injectors with Monark nozzles for him to install. Hope to be getting them by this Saturday. The Holiday today slowed things down.

Early this year I purchased a full set of newly reman'd injectors from an online source, for my (now sold) 1978 300D. They were good but quite expensive and I don't think up to the precise standard that Mark keeps.

Then I got "Trudy", my 220D and she needed a new set so I got four injectors from Mark and they have been fantastic.

Following that, Mark sent forum member Smile123 a set of five injectors for her OM617 turbo and they brought that engine back to life! So much better performance, smooth idle, less smoke, no nailing.

The work Mark does is second to none and next time I need a set, I know I'll be emailing him for them.

I saw the subject line of the thread and wondered if there really was a shameless plug in the engine block, or some other part... and what it would release if opened. ? Hm..

I think when you open that plug you find the sawdust or banana pulp in the differential which has non-existent seals.

It's never shameless to comment on outstanding work and service. I completely agree.
