The rear line into the master cylinder appears to have been the issue. Added fluid to the empty rear reservoir and pumped the brakes and didn't feel any wetness. I go right out now and bleed, but too cold and I am in my night cloths... I am good looking, but don't feel appropriate to flaunt it!

There are three Home Despots out in the San Diego area.
There is at least one Lowe's, it's by Qualcomm Stadium. There are at least six Ace Hardware stores in the area. There are no less than ten True Value Hardware stores in the San Diego area. Then there are lots of independent ma and pa shops that sell wrenches. Phil Forrest

Why will a combination wrench not work for this small and light task?

Well, my manuals are at home so traced the lines and came up with that... Thank you for pointing that out!

Oservations:
1) I would think you'd be fine with the adjustable. You'll be able to see if it starts to slip, anyway. If it's really rusty, you might want to scrape the rust off first; otherwise it might strip (and if there is a lot of rust, the adjustable might be the best bet). 2) Sears? Junk? Whu? My best tools are Kobalt (Lowes) and Craftsman. Craftsman tools -- especially the dirt-simple hand tools -- are still awesome. And they're still backed by the lifetime warranty. Just two weeks ago, I brought an ancient screwdriver with a stripped and rusty tip to them and I got a new one no problem. The Sears hardware store in our town is about the best place around for tools, hardware, and half-a-million other things. The thing is the size of a supermarket.

Just surface is visible. My ratchet busted apart, but my egg donor lost the parts... I wonder if they take that back? I figure why pay the high price when Harbor Freight is also made in China and has a forever warranty?

Why? Are you coming over then? I have class before then, so you will need to come sooner.

Sure try the adjustable wrenches. Don't go yelling at folks when you ask for a combination wrench and you mean an adjustable. Phil Forrest

Oh dear, I have been trying to get to bed for over two hours, sorry! I was right about a picture being useful. How I am yelling since everything is typed? I thought it was only bold that was yelling?

Yes. Your large typeface is yelling. It's also passive-aggressive and specifically directed at me. You don't see me doing that, nor any other folks here so what is the reason?
You asked for one thing and meant another but got a reasonable and mature answer on the first thing. So what is your problem? Phil Forrest
