All I can say is that the vibrations are still there, but they are different. The car feels exactly the same driving down the road. At idle, instead of shaking from side to side, it feels like it is shaking from front to back. It took a while to get used to. The intensity of the vibrations feels about the same. After a while, it will seem normal and you will just forget about it. I've had several diesel vehicles and they all seem to have their own style of vibrating.

I should note that I recently rebuilt and balanced my injectors and have kept the fuel system in good maintenance. As far as I know, my engine is in very good condition with very little blow by so I feel my comments are focused on the motor mounts and not something else.

I would do it again, especially if it keeps me from needing to R&R the motor mounts in 40K miles. The motor mounts on mine are a special PITA because I have the OEM skid plate to remove each time.

Filling the mounts will feel like the accord.

You want to keep diesel off the driver's side mount and it will last longer.

If it shakes, adjust the valves and rebuilt the injectors.

The stuff that people have been filling the mounts with comes in different hardnesses so it could take some expermintation to find what works for you.

Part if the issue is that there has not been a lot of people that have filled their mouts to have a large knowlege base.
OEM mounts last about 40K miles. Other cars last 150K - 200K+. It is an issue on this car.

No one has posted that milage figure before. But, if you don't remove the other issues causing the shaking and or Fuel or Oil is getting on the mounts the life is going to get shortend.
Also the Transmission Mount works together with the Motor Mounts and is subject to the same issues concerning early failure.

When I first got my Car I had that severe shaking. One of the things I did was install new Motor Mounts made by Anchor or Euro (can't remember whichone). Both are cheapie mounts which I did not know at the time.

It took 5 years for them to collaspe and since I don't drive much that representd about 7,000 miles.

But, I corrected all of the other stuff that caused shaking of which the Valve Adjusment and rebuilding the Injectors took away 85% of the Shaking.
