pulled the Magnum PI phone system and does anyone else have one of these?
 

i think it is part of an old alarm system, there are wires running to the glove box with 2 switches, there was a box that said crimestopper with an antenna wire that was looped around behind the back seat. Just as you open the door there is a barrel key alarm lock, i swear at one time it must have been the car to steal or it lived in a bad neighborhood, there is another barrel lock that locks the hood via cable.

guess i should say if you can't tell from the pictures it's mounted in the trunk behind the fuel tank cover and fuel tank. my back and legs started hurting so i had to pull off tracing all the wires, the wiring harness looks factory, if i can i think i will just pull all the stuff apart and label the wires, never know when or if i may need a wire run here or there and i would already have 1 or 20..

that's the stuff of corrosion nightmares!
