Engine Coolant Hose Identification

Hello All,

This is my first post.

I'm having a lot of trouble finding a replacement coolant hose for my 1979 300SD W116. I'm sure it's available for sale, but I cannot identify the part #.

I attached a picture of which hose I'm talking about.

I would really appreciate the help.

thanks,
Phil

It may be:

115 831 10 94

Call a dealer and see what they tell you it is (unless someone here has a definitive answer)....

I just replaced that same hose on my 300 TD. I got it from pelican parts right here.
Call the phone number at peach and get a sales guy on the phone. Then he will look it up, its not listed here on the site IIRC.

When you do verify the part number would you be able to post it here please?

A previous owner decided to install a manual heat valve in the car I have and they installed it right in the middle of the hose you have pictured.

That is one clean engine, can you share some more photos of the car? How did you get it? Love to see others cars!

Sorry, I wish that was my car. I grabbed a photo I found online. My car is not quite as nice looking. My hose is removed from the car too.

I just called and left a voicemail with sales about the part. Will post back here as soon as I hear back from them.

I just got off the phone with tech support. The best they could come up with is part # 1168310994

Not sure if this is it though. If you look at the diagram on EPC (attached to this post) # 313C it doesn't make sense. It doesn't appear to enter the engine block.

I think I may have to make a custom hose for this using elbows.

My best guess would be #314 in that diagram.

Thanks for the info. I'm still unsure if those are correct. I think I will just make a hose using 90 degree brass elbows.

I finally found the hose!

I was about to rig something together using brass elbows and heater hose, but didn't want to add a million other places where a leak could occur.

I went down to my local Mercedes Dealership (Ft. Lauderdale). It took a while for them to figure it out looking at the parts catalog. It was more of a best guess. Turns out they guessed correctly.

It's Part Number: 1168313294

I paid $24.59 ... can be bought for much cheaper online. $14 + shipping @ Pelican Parts.

Please see attached photos.

I'm so excited I finally found this hose.
